About Us Northwestern University to benefit Special Olympics is the oldest and largest collegiate Special Olympics. Our mission is to integrate individuals with developmental disabilities into our community through inclusive programming and events to raise awareness. We work very closely with Area 5 Illinois Special Olympics to fundraise and organized the Area 5 Spring Track and Field Meet.
